50th Birthday Party

Regardless of the number you’re turning, everyone loves a party and a fun occasion to celebrate. This time Joanne celebrated her 50th Birthday, in party printable style. Sensationally Sweet Events designed a memorable buffet table for Joanne based around a chic black styled design. Joanne had some ideas about how she wanted the written design to be so we went ahead and started on the background design coming up with a stylish black quilted party printable look.

Party theme ideas for your next event

Birthday wishes to Dylan for his 8th birthday.

Justine from Sensationally Sweet Events on the Gold Coast approached us for graphic design for a ‘Graffiti-style birthday theme’. This brief was going to be fun.…

In 2009 I was fortunate enough to be staying in Bristol, UK, argued to be the birthplace of Banksy when he was finally revealing a graffiti exhibition. From my recollection, this was to be the first exhibition from Banksy. He was given fre-rein to taking over the Bristol Museum with Banky artifacts. My children at ages 6 and 8 were introduced to his work.

Please don’t get me wrong, by no means am I comparing my graphic design to the famous Banksy, but I just took a leaf of inspiration from him. And there you have it, Concept Designs were certainly able to provide Justine with all the party supplies she needed for her big event.

Dylan loved his graffiti rockstar themed party. There were also some rockstar party games in the mix of the day, as well as a place for the parents to rest and relax whilst the kids had fun.

Trash Pack Birthday Party

How fun does this ‘trash-pack’ party look. No doubt the dream of any young 6 year old boy.

The brief from Sensationally Sweet Events was simple.….create printables for a trash-pack party display. It was fun to pull together the graphic design concepts and come up with the following printables for Mason’s Trash Pack Birthday Party. From what I hear the little man was pretty pleased too.

Mother’s Day Printables

What better way to celebrate your mum than a special lunch out and dessert table designed by Sensationally Sweet Events. This Mother’s Day, at OneTwoThree Restaurant on the Gold Coast, Justine designed an amazing table display.

As usual it was fun to design the printables for this worthy event and to see Lexi’s amazing photos of how it all came together.

The printables that went into the overall design of this buffet were:

restaurant menu for the special occasion
a cake topper ribbon

Justine was after a vintage effect with a beautiful ornate florish to highlight the overall design.

Disco Party Printables

Who knows of a 12 year old girl that would love to have a disco themed party? Well congratulations to Julia on her 12th party with a sensational Disco Party table from Justine.

It’s always enjoyable to see how Justine from Sensationally Sweet Events pulls together her Candy Buffet Party Tables. From my end it all starts with some creative ideas from Justine about what she’d like to achieve from her designs and as soon as I get those initial ideas, we get started on the graphic design, in this case, for a disco party.

One of Justine’s specialties is her backdrops, which really frame the party tables that she designs.

Julia’s 12th theme was disco party, so we got to working on the graphic design for the backdrop with the main focus of a large disco ball wishing Julia a happy birthday!! The wording ‘Julia’ was encrusted with diamonte designed sparkles and the disco ball was intricately drawn to give the impression of a glowing disco ball.

Hillcrest’s Inaugural Business Expo

Hillcrest’s Inaugural Business Expo is on today from 4pm-7pm. If you’re on the Gold Coast, come along to grab your One Day Only Offers from many of the businesses that will be displayed there today (Bridgeman Drive, Reedy Creek).

Even many of the corporate companies in our local area — Bunnings, Officeworks, Maccas at Reedy Creek and Westpac have generously donated. There are expo bags packed full of goodies including the amazing special deals and giveaways donated by the exhibitors! This day is one not to be missed.

Bunnings will be doing a kids craft class making mosaic coasters — for FREE! Plus there are plenty of other things to keep the kiddies entertained!

Concept-Designs is excited to be there with another great table styling by Sensationally Sweet Events. PLUS I have a fantastic one day only offer!! But you must come down to claim your offer.

After all our rain, what a beautiful day the Gold Coast has put on for us — not a cloud in the sky from where I’m sitting!! Thanks to all the organisers for the hours that have gone into putting on this event.
