So what is the Small Business Digital Grants?
The Small Business Digital Grants Program, funded by the government, aims to help small businesses gain access to digital technologies and services, so that they can engage with the global business market, work smarter, and more importantly, to make the most of the online business opportunities.
How much can I get?
You can receive dollar-to-dollar matched funding starting at $1,000 up to a maximum of $10,000 for the purchase of hardware, software and services. For example, you can use this grant to refresh your dated website or build a new one, develop a mobile app, set up social media or an online store, create digital content such as videos, or use the services of marketing agencies, provided that the project is approved. This essentially boosts your budget by doubling the amount!
Is my business eligible?
To be eligible your business must:
- have less than 20 employees
- have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be registered for GST
- have the headquarters in Queensland
- have a turnover of $2 million or less
Your business must also be able to show that the digital technology or service will enhance your digital capabilities and help you be more competitive and employ more staff.
